Queen’s South Africa 1899-1902, 1 clasp, Cape Colony (3746 Dmr. H. Edgar, K.O. Scot. Bord.) good very fine £70-90

Hugh Edgar was born in Carlisle, Cumberland and attested for service in the K.O.S.B. at Dumfries on 26 December 1898, aged 15 years, 9 months. Promoted to Corporal in July 1903, he was discharged on conviction of a felony on 26 April 1905. Sold with some service papers which state he was awarded the Queen’s medal with three clasps and King’s medal with two.
