176 no-clasp Queen’s South Africa Medals were awarded to the ship’s company of H.M.S. Dwarf.

Thomas Henry Glen Dewar was born in Kingston, Cornwall in December 1860 and entered the Royal Navy as a trained Shipwright in June 1888. Appointed Carpenter’s Mate in April 1897, he joined H.M.S. Dwarf in April 1902, served off South Africa and was awarded his L.S. & G.C. Medal aboard the same ship in September 1903. He was invalided from the Service in September 1907.
