John Bee is confirmed as a Leading Seaman on the roll of H.M.S. Minerva as having gone ashore during rescue operations at Messina in 1908. He was born in Leicester on 23 July 1882, and joined the Navy on 19 September 1898 as a Boy 2nd Class. Sold with copy service record.
