Bernard Taylor, M.B., B.S., D.P.H., first appears in the Royal Air Force List as Flying Officer, 15 July 1948; Flight Lieutenant, 7 September 1947; Squadron Leader, 7 September 1956, and Wing Commander, 1 April 1962, serving on the Maintenance Command Staff of the Services from 20 September 1964. The award of Officer of St John was announced in the London Gazette 11 January 1966.
