Sergeant Christopher Felix Cantwell was killed in action in air operations on 15 June 1944. His name is commemorated on the Runnymede Memorial.
No. 15 Squadron was the second Squadron in the R. A. F. to receive Stirling bombers, one of these being the famous
MacRobert’s Reply, given by Lady MacRobert in memory of her three sons all of whom were killed whilst flying.
