Sergeant John Wardlaugh Alexander’s date of death is given as 2 January 1945 whilst serving with the Pioneer Corps. He is buried at Turnhout Communal Cemetery, Antwerp, Belgium.

Gunner George Frederick William Habbishaw’s date of death is given as 19 November 1940 whilst serving with 309 Battery, 59 Searchlight Regiment, Royal Artillery. He is buried at Coventry (London Road) Cemetery. It seems likely that Habbishaw’s death can be attributed to the German blitz of Coventry 5 days previously.
