Served in Egypt October 1914 to April 1915; Gallipoli August to September 1915; Greek Macedonia, Serbia, Bulgaria, European Turkey and Islands of Agean Sea October 1915 to September 1917; Egyptian Expeditionary Force September 1917 to October 1918; H.Q. Northern Force and G.H.Q. October 1918 to July 1920. Transferred to R.A.R.O. and Royal Army Service Corps in May 1939 and served in the U.K. throughout the Second World War.
