Corporal Sydney Wilson Lockhart was born at Hitchin, Hertfordshire in 1877. He enlisted into the 52nd Company (Paget’s Horse) Imperial Yeomanry on 30 January 1900 and served in South Africa from 18 June 1900 until 17 June 1901 when he was discharged in consequence of the expiration of his period of engagement. Sold with copies of service papers.
