Charles I, Oxford mint, Half-Pound, 1643, King seated on horseback with arms below, plume (with bands) behind, reverse Declaration, plumes (with bands) above, group of four pellets at head of legend, 60.49gm (Morr. A-1; SCBI Brooker 866-8, same obv. die; N. 2404; S. 2945). Some double-striking in legend and E in REX tooled, minor striking flaws otherwise about very fine, rare (£700-800)
