8th Punjab Regiment, 2nd Battalion,(Formerly the 90th Punjabis), a very fine and scarce three piece mess kit c1935 worn by 2/Lt Peter Raineer Adams commissioned 31.1.1935, the buff (drab) colured jacket with royal blue cloth roll collar and pointed cuffs, one only silver collar badge being the seated chindte on a torse, four plated buttons mounted with stylised ‘8’s, (Lieutenant’s rank badges), drab waistcoat with mounted plated buttons these with seated chindte mounts, companion overalls these with applied lighter drab 2” braid stripe, excellent overall condition (3) £150-200
