George Anderson was born in Edinburgh and attested for the Royal Scots in 1892. He served with the regiment in South Africa between 6 November 1899 and 30 October 1902. He was discharged on 17 March 1903, being medically unfit, as a consequence of his right foot being amputated, this not due to military action. Sold with copied service papers.
