35th (Middlesex) Company Imperial Yeomanry.

Albert Hausewell Rathgeb was born in Finchley, Middlesex. He attested for the Imperial Yeomanry on 8 January 1900, aged 21 years. He served with the 35th (Middlesex) Company, 11th Battalion Imperial Yeomanry in South Africa between 28 February 1900 and 12 March 1901, being present at Biddulphsburg, at the Prinsloo’ Surrender and Bethlehem. The first three clasps are confirmed, the last is most unlikely. Sold with copied service papers.
