Sydney John Williams, “C” Squadron, 6th Dragoon Guards (Carabiniers) was killed in action, France / Flanders, 31.10.1914, aged 21 years. Having no known grave, his name appears on the Menin Gate Memorial. At the time of his death his parents were living in Hereford.
