Queen’s South Africa 1899-1902, 7 clasps, Cape Colony, Orange Free State, Johannesburg, Diamond Hill, Belfast, South Africa 1901, South Africa 1902 (3995 Pte., 8/Hrs.) top two clasps loose on ribbon; 1914 Star, with copy clasp (4441 Pte., 15/Hrs.); British War and Victory Medals (4441 Pte., 15-Hrs.) first with contact wear and minor edge bruising, therefore nearly very fine, the trio extremely fine £200-250

Edward Wallace was born at Barony, Glasgow, and enlisted at Hamilton. He was killed in action in France and Flanders on 22 March 1918 whilst serving with the 15th Hussars. His name is commemorated on the Pozieres Memorial, Somme, France.
