France, Saint Georges, 1934, an octagonal bronze award plaque by E.-P. Blin, St George on horseback spearing dragon, reverse tablet on shield with fleur-de-lis, un-named, 53mm (CGMP p.46; BM Acq. 1983-7, p.29, 46; cf. BDW 13, 340 and DNW 45, 823); Saint Michel, 1936, octagonal bronze medals by P. Turin (2), St Michael spearing the dragon, reverse scales and sword, cross behind, flames issuing from angles, 55mm and 22mm (CGMP p.382; cf. Simnmons FPL 13, 218). [3]. First very fine but first with edge piercings from a previous base mount, others extremely fine (£35-50)
