Sister Edith Jackman served in France from 30 April 1917. Sold with copy m.i.c. which also shows entitlement to the British War Medal. We can offer no explanation for the issue of the T.F.W.M. in silver (not silver plated) and can only assume that it was struck in this metal in error by the Royal Mint.
