1st Cadet Battalion, The King’s Royal Rifle Corps and Church Lads Brigade, KRRC, a very fine group of nine badges, comprising an officer’s silver plated pouch belt plate, c1902-1905, KC over a cross of the Order of the Bath, strung bugle horn centre with title surround, ‘1st C.B. KING’S ROYAL RIFLE CORPS’, three bolt fasteners; a similar KC silver plated pouch belt plate but with plinth below the crown, ‘CELER ET AUDAX’, and ‘SOUTH AFRICA 1900 1902’ occupying the four arms of the cross, three bolt fasteners; a pair of blackened brass shoulder titles, ‘1/C/KRR’, all loops present; a very small blackened brass forage cap badge, QVC over a plinth Celer et Audax a cross below with strung bugle horn centre and title ‘CADET BATTN KING’S ROYAL RIFLES’, with red cloth backing and two loop fasteners; a similar but slightly larger KC version, this with the South Africa 1900-1902 honour and central title ‘1st C.B. KING’S ROYAL RIFLES’, red cloth backing, two loop fasteners; three KC brass and blackened brass cap badges to the Church Lads Brigade Cadets, one with the initial capitals in the arms of the cross and centre ‘T C L B C’, two loop fasteners, a larger type with ‘FIGHT THE GOOD FIGHT’ below the crown, C.L.B. and CADETS above and below the centre, and The King’s Royal Rifle Corps and strung bugle horn in the centre, slider fastener; a smaller identical pattern with lapel type fastener, one crushed tip on the first item otherwise very good overall condition (9) £250-350
