Chile, Chile, Republic, 2-Reales, 1843 IJ, new type (KM 100.2). Only fair but very rare (£30-40)

Two types of 2-Reales were issued in 1843, the first showing a volcano introduced in 1834, the second (the present coin) of more conventional design, struck later in the year, with the national arms on the obverse and a condor on the reverse. Unpriced in KM.
