A German Second War NSFK Award Plaquette.
A very attractive official award from Friedrich Christiansen the Head of the NSFK, 75mm high plaquette in heavy cast metal, very nicely bronzed finished for an Indoor Flying Competition in Breslau 1940, together with the original citation card to Hans Vegener, this plaque being awarded the Second Prize with the facsimile signature of Friedrich Christiansen, all in its original fitted case. Some scuffing to the exterior and lower lid, very good condition £100-£140
