Williamson’s Challenge Medal. 29th L.R.V.’, hallmarked Glasgow 1866, the reverse inscribed with the names of the winners, including Sergt. J. McGregor in 1874, 1876, 1879 and 1880, the whole surrounded by an ornate gilt wreath of thistles surmounted by a crown and crossed rifles, an unusual piece of good quality manufacture, the centre loose, otherwise good very fine £100-150
