George Frederick Kolbe (b. 1941), originally from Yonkers, NY and Pasadena, CA, established his numismatic book dealership in 1967 in Crestline and the company has held regular book auctions since 1976. In 2010 Kolbe entered into partnership with David Fanning at Gahanna, OH, and Kolbe & Fanning are North America’s premier numismatic book dealers. Robert Henry Lubetkin (1925-2013), originally from Mt Vernon, NY, served in World War II and moved to Des Moines in 1948, where his career was spent largely in management positions in the city’s Younkers department store
