Leonard Robert Penfold was born in Battersea, London, and attested for the Royal Artillery at Camberwell. He served with them during the Great War on the Western Front, and was killed in action on 29 April 1918. He is buried in Perth Cemetery (China Wall), Belgium.

Arthur Ferryman attested for the Royal Artillery and served with the 9th Heavy Battery, Royal Garrison Artillery during the Great War on the Western Front. Sold with an old comrades book, and an original photograph.

Thomas Piper attested for the Royal Artillery and served with 70th Company during the Great War. He died in India on 27 May 1920. He has no known grave and is commemorated on the Kirkee Memorial, India.

Arthur Harrington, from Chelsea, London, attested for the Army Service Corps and served with the 19th Labour Company during the Great War on the Western Front. He died on 6 February 1916, and is buried in Calais Southern Cemetery, France.
