Indian Mutiny 1857-58, 1 clasp, Delhi (H. Storey, 61st Regt.) very fine

Private Hugh Storey was killed in action before Delhi on 2 August, 1857, during the night attack by the mutineers on Hindoo Rao’s House. He was the regiment’s only fatality in this action, killed by a roundshot, which in its course also knocked over some sandbags which sent Lieutenant Hutton flying about seven feet.
