Jersey Accommodation Bank, John Benest, £1, 6 July 1816, serial number 40, partially split and repaired on reverse, very good. Benest is a surname that originates and is historically only found on Jersey and survives to this day. No records exist of this bank, or this note. It is very probably unique.
