Ralph Huntingford was born in Mitcham, Surrey, and attested for the Royal Field Artillery at Wimbledon. He served during the Great War with “A” Battery, 190th Brigade, R.F.A., and was killed in action on the Western Front during the battle of the Somme on 27 October 1916. He has no known grave and is commemorated on the Thiepval Memorial, Somme, France.
