Cased Pair of Flintlock Duelling Pistols by I. Hollis & Sons, London, the approximately 11 bore half stocked octagonal barrels 23.5 cms long profusely etched with herringbone and foliage panels, the lock etched with varying scrollwork; the wooden stock with four end caps in black horn and similar butt caps, unmarked silver escutcheon plates, the trigger guard again profusely etched, complete with horn and brass ramrods. The campaign style wooden case complete with sunken brass handle and brass lock plates, various accessories (some associated), sold together with sundry paperwork concerning Isaac Hollis and Sons, one pistol with a neat and probably near contemporary repair to the stock below the lock otherwise good overall condition £4000-6000
