Charles Gibson enlisted on 8 December 1913. Serving with the 1st Battalion Royal Berkshire Regiment, he entered France on 13 August 1914. Discharged due to sickness on 26 September 1917 and awarded the Silver War Badge (not with lot). With copied roll extract and m.i.c. - clasp confirmed.
