‘At Nibbiwa on 9 December 1940, on his own initiative and with complete disregard for his personal safety, he drove his truck from a place of comparative safety through heavy artillery and machine-gun fire to a platoon which he saw was suffering casualties and rescued the wounded.’

Ghulam Rabani was from Bai, Kot Gullah, Attock.
