Sundry British Military Head Dress, comprising a khaki felt bush hat by Failsworth Hats Ltd., 1942 complete with white linen pagri, the turned up brim with white on red embroidered badge of the Lancashire Fusiliers and small yellow (faded to cream) feather plume; an aluminium and leather tank driver’s helmet; three steel helmets one with white stencilled ‘L.C.T’ one with stencilled white ‘Police’ the other crudely painted in various colours and showing the double cross of Lorraine badge at the front; a blue cloth beret dated 1945 bearing a KC white metal cap badge of the Royal Tank Regiment; a brown khaki beret with quilted lining; a QEC period officer’s khaki peaked forage cap bearing the badge of the North Somerset Yeomanry/44 RTR; an Air Defence Cadet Corps blue cloth side hat with correct badge and frontal buttons; a khaki side hat by S & P Harris Ltd., Glasgow 1944; a khaki side hat (moth damaged); an officer’s green cloth side hat by Hawkes & Co., now bearing an other ranks cap badge of the Royal Guernsey Light Infantry (slight moth damage); a blue cloth and black silk glengarry complete with silk ribbons bearing a plated and gilt metal badge of Kelvinside Academy OTC (moth damage); an officer’s side hat in blue cloth with red piping to the King’s Liverpool Regiment, badge in silver plate post 1923 pattern lacking frontal buttons and with perished lining; a blue cloth side hat by Cater & Co., London bearing a pre 1923 pattern other ranks bi-metal badge of the King’s Liverpool Regiment and a blue and red cloth side hat of the Church Lads Brigade, good overall condition except where mentioned (16) £200-300
