Independent Order of Oddfellows Jewel, gilt and enamel, reverse inscribed, ‘Presented by the Good Samaritan Lodge N.L.D. to W. L. Sillitoe P.G. for Services July 1908’, complete with brooch bar; another medallet, silver and gold, reverse inscribed, ‘S. & F.B. S.S.A. Private Louis Sillitoe was born in Earlsfield, Surrey, lived in Wood Green, Middlesex and enlisted at Kingston, Surrey. Serving with the 20th Battalion Middlesex Regiment, he was killed in action, France/Flanders, on 29 January 1918. He was buried in the Mory Abbey Military Cemetery, Mory, Pas de Calais, France.

Private Andrew James Sillitoe, 7th Battalion East Surrey Regiment, was killed/died, in Fance/Flanders, on 28 November 1916. He was buried in the St. Hilaire Cemetery, Frevent, Pas de Calais, France.
