Rifle Volunteer Shako/Glengarry Badges & a Pouch Belt Plate c. 1860 - 1880, the first in die stamped white metal features the crown over a coiled bugle horn with ‘8’ in the centre, the second of similar format with ‘23’ in the centre (stated to be the 23rd Cathcart Company Renfrewshire Rifle Volunteers), the third in die stamped bronze features a coiled bugle horn with central ‘26’ upon a gauze backing (stated to be the 26th Lanarkshire Rifle Volunteer Corps), all with loop fasteners, the fourth in die stamped brass features the crown over coiled bugle horn with ‘23’ in the centre (again stated to be the 23rd Cathcart Company), very good condition (4) £150-250
