William Alfred Barker enlisted on 7 August 1914. Serving in the Sussex Yeomanry he entered Gallipoli on 7 October 1915. Later served in Egypt. Transferred to the Labour Corps, he was discharged due to sickness on 4 March 1919 and awarded a Silver War Badge. With copied m.i.c. and roll extract.
