Attributed to George Jakeman (b. April 1899), who played for Aston Villa between 1922 and 1929 and was a member of the winning side who defeated Birmingham City in the 1926-7 season’s Charity Cup. Jakeman had previously been capped for England in a game against Scotland in 1926
