Private James Harley, 2nd Battalion Hampshire Regiment entered the Balkan (Gallipoli) theatre of war on 25 April 1915. He was subsequently discharged being awarded the Silver War Badge.

Private Arthur William Hutchinson, 2nd Battalion Royal Fusiliers, enlisted on 17 November 1914 and entered the Balkan (Gallipoli)theatre of war on 18 May 1915. From there he was invalided due to sickness in December 1915 and was discharged on 4 September 1916, being awarded the Silver War Badge.

Private Harry Lowe, Wiltshire Regiment entered the Balkan (Gallipoli) theatre of war on 17 November 1915. The only Wiltshire battalion in Gallipoli was the 5th (Service) Battalion. Subsequently discharged and awarded the Silver War Badge.

Private Harry Reed, 1/8th (Isle of Wight Princess Beatrice’s) Battalion Hampshire Regiment, entered the Balkan (Gallipoli) theatre of war on 10 August 1915. Mentioned in despatches for his services in Gallipoli (
London Gazette 13 July 1916). On 12 January 1921 verification of his medal entitlement was sent to the Commissioner of Metropolitan Police, indicating his desire to join the police.
