Battery Quartermaster Serjeant Frederick James Barnes, Royal Field Artillery, was awarded the Meritorious Service Medal (
London Gazette 22 February 1919).

Private William G. Barnes, Wiltshire Regiment, entered the France/Flanders theatre of war on 17 November 1915. Later transferred to Class “Z” Reserve.

Gunner George G. Gabler, 4th D.A.C. Royal Field Artillery, entered the France/Flanders theatre of war on 23 August 1914 and was immediately engaged at Le Cateau. The unit was later present at Marne, Aisne, Ypres, Neuve Chapelle and Amiens. Entitled to the 1914 Star. Most with copied m.i.c.
