Edward James Tuckwell was born in Hackney, lived in Clapton Park, Middlesex and enlisted at Hackney. Serving with the 1st Battalion Rifle Brigade, he was killed in action on 19 October 1916. He was buried in the Caterpillar Valley Cemetery, Longueval.
