Memorial Plaque 1914-18 (John George Hamilton Guy) good very fine £40-60
John George Hamilton Guy enlisted at Nottingham and was formerly with the Derbyshire Yeomanry. Serving with the 1st Battalion Nottinghamshire and Derbyshire Regiment, he was killed in action, France/Flanders, on 26 March 1918. Having no known grave, his name is commemorated on the Pozieres Memorial.
With named commemorative scroll mounted on (damaged) card and several original photographs of the recipient. For his father’s medal, badges, etc., see lot 601.
