Royal Flying Corps, an interesting archive of ephemera and photographs relating to Major J B Solomon MC who served with 15 Squadron and later commanded 82 Squadron, including approx. 250 aerial photographs many captioned as to their location, time and date etc, some duplication, approx.25 oblique balloon photographs, all photographs dating from the latter part of 1918, a quantity of various other photographs including wrecked aircraft, ruined streets, etc., a few groups and a few aerial photographs of Zeebrugge after the raid, also a quantity of paperwork including location of RAF units, a folding single folio sheet marked secret, SS135 Co-operation between aircraft and infantry, artillery intelligence summary for 15 Squadron, a ‘before and after shoot’ photograph also for 15 Squadron, several orders of the day, a German trench map, etc., also a copy of ‘The RFC Alphabet’ by MB and a small quantity of RFC Christmas cards, in all an interesting survival, generally good condition £200-250
