William Hutton was born in Lynn, Massachusetts, USA and enlisted at Rugby, Warwickshire. He was killed in action in France and Flanders on 27 September 1918 whilst serving with the 15th Battalion, Royal Warwickshire Regiment, having previously served with the 12th Lancers.
