John Winders was born in Cambridge and enlisted there into the 30th Foot on 27 November 1807. He served with the 2nd Battalion in the Peninsula and at Waterloo and was discharged at Fermoy on 29 April 1817, in consequence of the reduction of the Battalion. Sold with copy discharge papers.
