Just eight Queen’s South Africa Medals were awarded to staff of the Cape Victualling Yard, this award being one of two no-clasp issues and very probably unique in terms of the rank engraved thereon.

Albert Redclift was awarded his Imperial Service Medal on 4 May 1921 (London Gazette refers); see next Lot for his father’s Honours and Awards.
