Signalman Charles Frederick Marshall, attached III Indian Corps Signals, Indian Signal Corps, died as prisoner-of-war of the Japanese on 21 January 1944. He was buried in the Chungkai War Cemetery, Thailand. He was the son of Frederick and Nellie Marshall and husband of Joyce E. Marshall of Kingsbury, Middlesex. Sold with (worn) named condolence slip.
