Royal Regiment of Artillery, an officer’s shoulder belt plate c1832-37, rectangular gilt back plate with burnished rim and seeded ground, the mounts being the Royal Arms pre-1837 over ‘Ubique’ a cannon and scroll ‘Quo Fas et Gloria Ducunt’, part only of the leather liner; an other ranks relic ‘bell-top’ shako plate c1832-37, in die-stamped brass; an other ranks copy brass rectangular cross belt plate of the pattern 1837-49, the first item eaten along the top edge by verdigris and since re-gilded, the second recovered from the sea-bed and is perished and perforated overall (3) £100-120
