A small but interesting series of original documents and photographs relating to the nuremburg trials 1945-46, comprising a printed pamphlet entitled International Military Tribunal, Nurnberg, Germany, 1945-46, ‘prepared by Public Relations, H.Q., C.M.D., I.M.T.’, 13pp., with indictment, court plan, list of defendants and their individual responsibilities for assorted crimes as per the proceedings against the main Nazi leaders (Goering, Hess, von Ribbentrop, Keitel, Doenitz, Speer, etc.); together with another carbon-copy type face pamphlet entitled War-Crime Trials, Nurnberg, Germany, Nov. 20, 1945, with contents of a similar nature, 7pp., but with the addition of pencilled sentences written alongside the names of defendants (‘Hanging’, ‘Imprisonment for Life’, ‘20 Yrs.’, etc.); a Visitors’ Gallery admission ticket (Seat No. 53, Session 282) for the International Military Tribunal, the reverse with pencilled name, ‘H. E. Trombala’ and a larger but similar ‘I.M.T. Visitors’ Pass’ for admission to the Court House during the period 11-16 June 1946, this with typed name ‘Mrs. Trombala’; and several related contemporary photographs, mainly of scenes from the Trial, but all unmarked / or stamped, the whole contained in G.P.O. envelope addressed to ‘Captain A. Trombala’ at an address in West Kensington, London, date stamped 26 June 1946, generally in good condition and unusual (Lot) £80-120
