O.B.E. (Military) London Gazette 4 June 1919: ‘In recognition of valuable services rendered in connection with military operations in Egypt.’

Richard Ernest Howell Leach, O.B.E., M.A., M.D., B.Ch., M.R.C.S., L.R.C.P., was born on 21 November 1874, and educated at Rugby and Merton College, Oxford, and underwent medical training at St Thomas’ Hospital. He served during the Great War in the R.A.M.C. with the Egyptian Expeditionary Force from 1915 to 1919.
