Seedie’s Roll of Naval Honours and Awards lists all naval Honours and Awards (from Mentions in Despatches upwards) that were awarded during the Second World War and the decade that followed. Of particular importance to the Naval historian is the fact that, in addition to what appears in the London Gazette, Seedie’s Roll lists both the ship or unit the recipient was serving with when he received his award, and also brief details of the action for which it was awarded.
