Crouch & Son, long-horn sheep right, rev. named (Mid Calder 8th July 1870, for the Best Pen of Blackfaced Sheep of any Breed, Awarded to Thomas Aitken Esqr, Liston Sheils, for Blackfaced Ram), maker’s mark wc·s, 77 x 58mm. About extremely fine and of fine workmanship, rare; set in an ornate border with integral suspension and loop £150-£200
