The Royal Infirmary for Children, formerly known as the Royal Infirmary for Sick Children and by other names from its foundation in the early 19th century, was situated in Brewer street, Golden square. It acquired the name as shown on the medal in 1843 and it is thought that this piece dates to
c. 1855-60
