John Hall is also entitled to the M.G.S. as a Sergeant with 9 clasps for Fuentes D’Onor, Ciudad Rodrigo, Salamanca, Vittoria, St Sebastian, Nivelle, Nive, Orthes and Toulouse. He was wounded by a gunshot in the breast at Nive and was admitted to a late pension (WO 116/96). He served in Captain Diggles’ Company at Waterloo. Sold as a pair at Glendining’s in May 1911 but M.G.S. alone in June 1952.
