Pinches, Britannia holding caduceus and key, opening the doors to the exhibition, lamb and helmet at her feet, rev. wreath, date on tablet, edge named (Pryce Jones), 63mm (Allen 1; BHM 3107). Mint state, with attractive olive tone, very rare in silver; in official maroon gilt-blocked case of issue by John Pinches, 27 Oxendon street, London £200-£260
